Our Story

Founded in San Francisco, CA, Third Eye Yoga is a company founded by Yogis, for Yogis.

Our flagship yoga mat and towel design was born out of sheer frustration. Regular towels on top of a mat weren't cutting it. We were constantly moving and adjusting the towel rather than focusing on our yoga practice or workouts which was frustrating to say the least. We knew there had to be a better way to ensure the towel was secured in place allowing us to get the most out of our session.

BEHOLD THE THIRD EYE YOGA & TOWEL MAT
After testing various methods of attachment, we settled on a metal zinc-alloy snap fastener or buttons in each corner of our mat & towel. The male snap fastener piece would be on the yoga mat and the female on the towel. It’s as simple as snapping them together and you’re ready to go. No more fidgeting and sliding around, we could keep our focus on getting the most out of our practice or workout without distraction.

A simplistic upgrade to the classic yoga mat, but it's often simplicity that changes the world and can have the most impact.

MADE WITH ONLY ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIALS
Our yoga mats & towels have been meticulously designed, using only high-performance materials that are also completely sustainable and non-toxic. Sustainability is one of our core values, and that will never change.

We also integrate industry-leading product design practices, like laser engraved body alignment on our mats, closed-cell technology and silicone on the bottom of our towels so they're even more secure against our anti-slip mats.
